Coming to an End

Freshmen year, 18 days of school left. It's gone by fast. High school; definitely different than junior high. People change, I've changed. I lost a few, and I gained a few. I wish it could just slow down. I remember the first day. Butterflies in my stomach, new outfit, scared, petrified, worried, looking for friends, hoping the last day of school would already come. But, I wish I didn't make that wish, just so quick. Freshmen year was pretty amazing, and its already almost come to an end. If only I could change time, go back, and fix some of my mistakes. I definitely haven't been the best I could be this year but there's always next. It's been said that Freshmen year is pretty tough to get used to the whole high school feel, and I guess it was. But, I'm glad that I learned a lot. Not necessarily about school work, but about myself, others, and relationships. I can say that I have grown, but I can NOT say that I have grown a lot. I know who my true friends are and they're the ones that are going to have my back through thick and thin. I'm glad I have them. But now, there's another year to look forward too. SOPHMORES. Fresh Start, New Beginning. And who can forget summer '09!? (:
